Welcome to St Paul Lutheran Church, Paducah, Kentucky! We are a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Our church believes, teaches, and confesses the whole of God's Word in its truth and purity, and administers the Sacraments according to the commands of Christ Jesus. We worship and serve the Triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who, by His grace, has created, redeemed, and sanctifies us. Come and hear of His grace toward us!
Advent & Christmas 2023
Join us for Morning or Evening Prayer on Wednesdays in Advent, Dec. 6th, 13th, and 20th. We pray the Matins at 9:30 am and the Evening Prayer at 6:30 pm from the Lutheran Service Book. The Scripture lessons and sermons will be drawn from St. John's Revelation, chapters 21 & 22, as we begin our new church year at the end, with the vision of the Heavenly Jerusalem coming down to earth.

Sunday, Dec. 24th:
9:00 am - Divine Service for 4th Sunday in Advent (Rorate Caeli)
10:30 am - Children's Christmas Service
7:00 pm - Christmas Eve service of Lessons & Carols (w/candlelight)
Monday, Dec. 25th:
10:00 am - Divine Service for the Feast of the Nativity of our Lord

Every Lord's Day we gather together to hear God's Word read and proclaimed and to make use of the Holy Sacraments (Baptism and the Lord's Supper). In these ways God strengthens us to live by faith and love. We respond to His service to us with songs, hymns, and spiritual songs, making use of the rich heritage we have received from many times and places and making it our own. We use orders of worship drawn from our hymnal that direct our hearts and prayers to God's Word.
